how i do the poster

this assignment 3 is the hardest assignment to finish it.. it is because my PC got infected by a very stupid virus and while im doing the task, my pc got crash with the software and i cannot save it after i finished about 80% for it...and i have to redo it again....wawawawa

ok..this is my step how i do the poster....

first step
(creating the trunk)

im using pen tool to draw the tree trunk, like im doing in assignment 1 and 2. To fill the color, im using mesh tool and eye drop color tool

2nd step
(creating the stick)

to make stick and the branch i draw a thin vertical rectangle with rectangle tool and go to EFFECTS menu, and then select DISTORT & TRANSFORM / TWIST.

3rd step

Set a value of 50 and click OK and i'll go to OBJECTS menu and EXPAND the image.

4th step

i used direct selecting tool to adjust the shape.

5th step

I choose spiral from tool menu (border thickness would be 1 or 2 pt) and place it on the stick. I EXPAND the spiral shape before duplicate it.

6th Step
(creating the leaves)
i used pen tool to create this leave

7th step
and copy and arrange it

8th step

group the leaves and put it together with the stick.

9th step

i put all the stick that i create before to the main trunk.


10th step
(create green leaves)
i create this green leaves with pentool and place it to symbols




11th step
and then arrange it on the main trunk

12th step
(creating grass)

i drew a blade of grass using 3 objects that overlapped each. group it, and dragged into BRUSHES panel.

select new art brush

i choose tints and Shade

then i used brush that i made...play with it to make like grass

13th step
creating fence

i just draw rectangle and put some 3D effect - extrude


14th step

arrange the fence

15th step

like fence, i also put 3D element to create the "preserve board"


16th step
(creating bird)

im using pen tool only to create the bird


17th step
(text arrangement)


the font that i used were :

"It is all about" : Engravers MT
"Caring and Loving" : Batik Regular
"the nature" : Mistral
the short paragraph : Alba Mottar

after i satisfied will all the arrangement of the text. i put the background color which is green for represent the nature and green brown that represent the land.
